2018 SECTION II HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL RULES

Run Ahead Rule:  Section II high school play uses a 12 run ahead rule for both Varsity and JV play, after 4.5 or 5 innings.

Modified Run Rule: Section II modified level softball games are played with a run limit per inning as follows: Innings 1 through 6 – 5 runs per inning maximum; 7th inning – an unlimited number of runs may be scored
